CSBC is a welcoming body of believers that seek to honor the Lord in all that they do. All of the church leaders are well-trained, godly men who desire to bring about greater worship of God in their own lives, in the lives of their congregation, and in the surrounding community. This church is clearly founded upon Christ and His word, and are a loving group of folks.
CSBC Is OK. They have a lot of activities for children. However a friend of mine was asked to go to another church when they found out he was a member of the United Methodist church in the past. Speechless...
Not impressed in Cave spring baptist. Came with my 7 year old son. Only 1 person greeted me and my son. Then they asked me "What is your past religious affiliation?" So that confirms what others are saying. I told them none. The man said "good, we wouldn't want to have some sort of problem". He laughed. I know what he was up to. Be kind and loving to everyone. Thats what the bible said for us to do. Treating others differently and pushing others away brings trouble and problems.
Our neighbor invited us a year ago and we have been in love with the church ever since. The people are caring and love the Lord. It has a family atmosphere which is the way it should be.
The CSBC has kind of gotten a reputation for being "un-christlike" by asking people to leave. Mainly people of different faiths. In 2012, a man whom was a Mormon and spoke perfect mandarin Chinese came by to see their church. His 4th visit, they asked him to leave. He was very important and word of his visit spread. Before that there were others that were asked to leave. Recently there have been as well. I would rather shy away because of this.
