This facility was awful. The worst experience ever i understand detox is not suppose to be fun. But i was just drugged and allowed to lay in the bed. I feel like i was not checked on i was givin no help..I could not even move from all the drugs they were giving me. I did not eat or shower for 4 days nor did I speek to a counselor or ask if I was ok... I denied my meds after days and could finally get up to call family to come help. Me.... I could of died and noone would have known. I dont feel it helped me in any sorta of way and would not recommend.
You can go here for free or very cheap $1 per month for mental health services. They have great group therapy programs.
The kicker? They charged me $500 to see this desk jockey 3 times!!! For all three visits I think I spoke with her less than 45 minutes total, and she was useless. This whole place is useless. Go here if you like giving money away for nothing in return.
I was referred to this wildly understaffed facility by my PCP for medication management, and never made any progress to that end. I was basically forced to see not a psychiatrist or even a counselor but a glorified receptionist who was terribly unprofessional (not knowing policy, eating lunch during our meeting, being 1 or more hours late, insulting me). She told me that because of my state of mind, I was required to come see her again or she would send the police to my house to baker act me. However, I was told I would have to see this woman for 30 days before I could even make an appointment with a real doctor. I made it three times before she finally told me no doctor there would prescribe what I needed. So I politely refused their services and left for the final time.
I was told I wasn't severe enough even though, I have MDD (depression) and GAD(anxiety) that I'm on disability for.
DO NOT GO HERE.
Was in the iop program and it helped me figure out reasons why I had turned my life to the bad way it was and helped me turn it back around to the better for me and my children
