This is by far the WORST and I meant WORST parking company I have EVER had to deal with. The stupid machine doesn't allow you to go back once you've selected an option, does NOT give change, so you're basically screwed either way and the prices are ridiculous
Stupidly expensive parking. They'll take your $20 for a $10 slip with no change given. Basically what you would expect from a parking lot company.
I was told several times to never use these guys...I should've listened. Lost $10 and still didn't even get a parking space...
Really? No one has posted a review of what a rip off this company is to our city? This company is based out of Nashville, TN. The offer special discounts to NASHVILLE musicians, sponsor affiliates in NASHVILLE only. Do you think any of their money is coming back to Roanoke, VA? And their "Strategic" parking prices are a complete joke. They pretty much force you to pay for the full day. I recently paid for 40 minutes at the Franklin Rd SW lot thinking I could use their auto extension option via text, I was even given this option while paying at the station and entered my cell phone number. This was at around 3:15pm on a Wednesday. I go back into my office and some time later I receive a reminder that my time was ending in 15 minutes and they "are not offering automatic extensions at this time". They get to pick and choose when they want to offer it and when they don't I guess. So for example, someone has a job interview or appointment, they only pay for the 40 minutes and opt for the extension via text in case it takes longer, then while in the middle of their interview or appointment, they get a text that it's not offered they can't leave and get slammed with a ticket. A honest to goodness scam from a non local company that only cares about money and not residents of this city. By the way, Premier Parking is in no way connected with the City of Roanoke so you don't have to pay their parking tickets in fear of having a violation from the city itself...so...if you have one, don't rush to pay it!
Seems like every time I use these parking spaces, I get screwed out of my money....EVERY time. There already isn't many places to park downtown and Premier definitely takes advantage of that.
