Josh showed up on time with all that he needed. He was quick and thorough explaining each step along the way. Southern Trust has made a great hire with this young man. Professional and knowledgeable. You pay more with Southern Trust, but they are reliable and stand by their parts and installation.
Steve called to let me know his arrival time. He was friendly and enthusiastic about hearing what the problem was and addressing it. He went to work on it promptly and very successfully. I was hesitant about calling for any plumbing help , but I was in definite need so I tried something new-Southern Trust. So glad I did!
Never had a tech come out (my tech today was Don S. who is great and I promise I will remember you next time!) that wasn't friendly, helpful, clean and very concerned about taking care of my property. Their office is always good about calling you before an appt to make sure you are there and they get out to pretty quickly, weather permitting. All in all a great company and one I will gladly continue to use.

Been using Southern Trust for 4 years now since moving to the area, wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone that needs any type of HVAC/Plumbing or electric work done.
Jarrett was very knowledgeable about our "emergency" weekend drain issue and was able to resolve our problem without much mess and rather quickly. He was also considerate of the amount of money it would cost to fix the issue and chose a cheaper way to clean out the drains even if it was more work for him. They do charge by service type and not hourly. There are pros and cons to this. It is nice to know what the up front cost is, but I can also see where someone may be paying for 15 minutes of work while someone else is paying the same fee for 2 hours of work on the same job type. After reading some other reviews, however, it would make sense to include the service call fee into the job fee. I understand it covers fuel and whatever else, but most companies will at least give you a free estimate. In an emergency situation I would recommend Southern Trust Home Services. 4 stars is not indicative of the work they do, just the way the fees are structured.
Their prices are very reasonable, they offer a service plan that actually makes sense, their techs will tell you everything about your systems, and all the options available to you for upgrades/repairs or additions BUT they have yet to ever hard sell or BS me on needing something repaired before it's time, they will do what you ask and fix what you want them to fix but they also give you decent advice, which is helpful to keep from getting stuck in a constant repair cycle that ends up costing way more than just replacing it.
Honest and upstanding company. Highly recommended.
