WARNING! Do not go with Sprint Service. Most terrible service PERIOD and after my first week with them which was a HUGE mistake, I can tell you that they're not only false with their advertisement on services, cost and features but down right dishonest when I demanded my refund but said Best Buy was suppose to refund (Tip: When leasing from Best Buy but terminate early, the service of said leasing is suppose to refund you, not the store UNLESS you BUY their stocked products). I had "unlimited" *cough* BULLSH*T! *cough* service that supposedly had 4G LTE but all I got was 3G (this was from last year) and even with 3G on the iPhone 6S, it loads like garbage. Not even the mail app loads properly and it took more than 17 seconds ON 3G to fetch one email. As for 3G, they promised to get 4G LTE soon but I met a worker of a Chinese food joint on Williamson Road was told the same thing ONE YEAR PRIOR and still no 4G LTE.
The people are much more friendly and helpful then the ones across the street.. Probably because they are owned by "MobileNow" and not Sprint..
I was lied to by one of the sales representatives and manager at this store. She claimed the phone was "discounted," but wasn't sure why the discount was there. She asked the manager for clarification. The manager just said that it was discounted. Not being privy to the way phone sales worked at the time, I did not object. Turns out, they signed me up for a 2 year contract, which enabled a "subsidized phone charge" of $25 to show up on my bill unexplained. Sprint said there is nothing they can do. These are predatory practices and I will be looking to take my business elsewhere, soon.
That's my story of the demented experience of the most pathetic service ever: Sprint. For the love of god and yourself, AVOID SPRINT AT ALL COSTS. Your time and money is well spent on other places like Cricket or even T-Mobile to a degree if you want a conventional cellular service. Sprint is THE worst of them all, even U.S Cellular is better...WAY better. R.I.P nTelos. Can't believe you allow "SPRINT" to take you away and dissolved your once cost efficient service.
Anyway.. They were able to help us very quickly and got our problem resolved right away..!
Very poor service ! Went with a friend there a year ago ended up switching from Verizon to Sprint biggest mistake anyway I upgraded last Thursday from a iPhone 6 to the galaxy note 8 when I left the store my service did not work went back the guy tried a few things galaxy and said it would take up to 72 hours for it to be fixed so went back on Sunday and had a young girl that really didn't want to help me she made a phone call and said it would take up to up to up to 24 hours for it to be fixed on Monday a sprint technician called me it took him 2 hours to get resolved the store said once fixed his name being g Ron would compensate me he took a whole 10 dollars of a otter box wow I went 4 days without service they really suck Verizon is so much better wish they would put a real Sprint store in Roanoke instead of dealer's
After going to the Towers Mall Sprint store and waiting an hour and 45 minutes while the employees played around and got very little done, I decided to cancel my Sprint account. The next day I decided to go to the Valley View store and talk to them to see if they are more professional. I was taken care of by Kevin Furrow. He turned a bad situation into a really good one and I decided to stay with Sprint. He was very polite and extremely knowledgeable and in my opinion, deserves a promotion if he wants one.
