A wonderful place to volunteer! The people who live there are so appreciative of the volunteers serving them dinner, etc.! Volunteering there is a terrific way to feel good about oneself! I would highly recommend it!
I noticed the women's shelter was very clean. An they do so much to help people. I was there not as a resident but delivering some toys for kids. It seemed to be very clean an nice.
I was very impressed. I went with a friend who needed dental work and financially couldn't afford it. They worked with her. The place was clean, they did a good job and they were quick and very friendly too.
I completed the substance abuse program at the mission and after completion I became a staff member. Their program saved and changed my life. I will be forever grateful.
