There were 3 people working and no one was working the front. I stood there for 3 minutes and no one ever came up. I could see them in the back and I know they could see me. They lost my business
Quaint place. The pastries look really really good. The sandwich and soup I got was not spectacular but good. I'd say they skimp on the meat. I do have to mention a huge pet peeve of mine is dirty tables. It didn't seem like the table I sat at had been wiped down in a long time... Possibly all day or yesterday. I don't like sticky fingers before I eat. This is my first time eating here and I'd definitely come back and try one of their other sandwiches before making a final decision.
Superb service, attention to detail. Customization of offered meals was not frowned upon. Espresso was firmly acidic, robust. Highly recommended.
My only complaint is they use lots of styrofoam. I would love to see them at least use paper to go coffee cups.
Just passing through Roanoke. I had a red eye and a cup of curried veggie soup. The soup came with a fresh baked roll. All excellent! The atmosphere is perfect, airy, open, and funky but still professional. I wish we had a place like this in Huntsville, AL. I think it goes well with the college town vibe.
Love this place for lunch. Favorites are pizza, scones, panninis and of course the rosemary potato soup.
