Nice spot in the heart of downtown. Their corned beef does not disappoint. The reuben seems pricey at first but you get a HUGE portion of food. I can eat a lot but it's a challenge to finish the whole sandwich and the fries that come with it. My only real complaint is the bartender that has been downstairs each time I have been there isn't very personable or friendly. She's always kind of rude. She was/is pregnant so maybe that's her excuse. The beer is a little on the high side but overall this place lives up to its name.
Cover Charge 5$-10$ depending on the time and day. The vibe here is good. Its a mixed atmosphere. Girl guy ratio not the best probably 1:2 . But is really depends on the day that you go.
My boyfriend and I always stop in when we're in Roanoke. The bbq chicken mac&cheese is fantastic! I love the atmosphere, beautiful restaurant. Great beer selection sometimes. As a Blacksburg local, it's nice to find a clean, trendy bar! My only complaint is that one of the bartenders was a total jerk to us and other's at the bar the last time we were here. Not sure how he has managed to keep his job being that rude to customers. Otherwise, the service has been great.
Hopping nightlife in Roanoke! I'm a little old for this crowd but enjoyed myself. Lots of bouncers to keep things safe, which I appreciate. Bartenders are plentiful across three levels of dance rooms, pool tables, bar areas and they pour a decent drink. Beer selection was good.
Fun atmosphere. gets started late but all of Roanoke does. Dance floors, dj, entertainment.
