They say you remember the bad experiences more than you remember the good ones. I guess this is why I remember Tracy and not the other ladies name.
So I went to return a few items, and a few, I mean by a lot, and I was sorta kinda greeted my Tracy in the women's clothing section. My opinion of her is that she does not need to be in customer service if she doesn't know how to handle a big return. I understand that big returns affect the store's sales goal, but at the end of the day she could have flipped it and may have been able to get a sale out of me in the future. I will not return to this Macys simply because of Tracy and I will tell you why. When I came in to return my items, I asked her if I was in the right place. She then asked me what items did I have, and I stated mostly clothes but a pair of shoes. She then says okay, and I hand her the box of clothes. She then goes, "you're returning ALL of this." And yes she exaggerated the ALL. So I said yes. Let me just interject for a moment, why in the flipping heck would you even ask that question. Like nah I'm only returning 50% of those items. If I hand you the box of clothes and say I'm returning then no duh I'm returning all. So then she proceeds to pull the clothes out, and she goes "I MEAN is there a reason for you retuning all these items." So I smugly say, "Because they don't fit right." She then slowly begins returning the items. I swear I thought I was at a professional laundry mat because she hung, folded and plushed each item while going through the return process. This irritated me because she could see I was in a rush yet she took her sweet time. As she was retuning the items she proceeded to tell me that I had to go to a different department to return my shoes. Right before she finished returning my items, I asked one more time and she repeated her self. When I went to the shoe department to return my item a very nice young lady, with a unique name, stated that she could have issued a return for this item. I explained to the lady that I was busy and it was a huge inconvenience. She apologised for the other sales reps terrible customer service. Please give the second lady an award for great customer service. Tracy on the other hand could sit on poop, and I wouldn't care.
Lastly, if there isn't a discount then there isn't one... So don't whine that U had a coupon & couldn’t use it.. The coupon have EXCLUSIONS, so READ IT if u have well functioning eyes!!!!!!!!
Macy's is upscale, quality, and affordable with friendly helpful service. Free convenient parking, in shopping mall. The 2 story building offers clothing, shoes, accessories, jewelry; for family. The makeup and skincare department offers top of the line brands. Sales associates are trained and efficient with knowledge of products, and policy. At intervals most items in various departments are discounted. Good place to shop and/or update on fashion and useful items.
I have been a customer of Macy's for 30 yrs. I am becoming very disappointed with their lack of well treated employees. Extremely low wages, while expecting good customer service. I was advised employees are not treated well. Also, now a new practice....when store doesn't have your item, there is now a shipping charge. MACY'S you are losing me and probably many more. You are not the only game in town.
I want to reach out to those customers first who find out any petty reason to be angry.. Firstly, if there is a technical glitch then that's not something u should shout out at the Sales Associate or the Manager in that regards.. Secondly, everyone inside the store is courteous & friendly, so if U are having a bad day, don't blame it on any associate or Manager for your SO-CALLED BAD EXPERIENCE just bcoz they didn't Chaperone U around.. All of them are hard-workers so appreciate it rather than complaining about it, also there would be staffing issues sometimes because the associates cancel out at the last moment & that is when u shud appreciate the PATIENCE of those who attend to u or try to do so!!
Your coupon are no good on many of clothing and purses. Not sure why you waste money on sending them out. Try to use on a purse and was could not use it. Did not buy the purse.
END OF STORY.
