Nice place to go for kids to enjoy themselves. The playground has a padded flooring for those kids who are not do stable on their feet. The rock Park is as always has been a beautiful natural thing to play on and explore it's crevices. It's a small rock Park non more than four or five feet tall but still amazing. Not to leave out the fountains at the amphitheater my kid enjoyed running through and playing as water kept him guessing which ones was about to shoot out water. Enjoyable to watch the look in a kids face as they play and the look on their face when that one foundation catches them off guard!
Great addition to downtown Roanoke. Always something cool going on during the weekends. Meet lots of cool people here. Great place to Meetup and player Pokemon go too!
Very well kept up and beautiful fountains. The ones in front of the stage are great to bring the kids and let them play in the water this hot summer. My Frenchy loves running through them each year. Lots of places to sit, relax, have a picnic, or just tune out and be quiet. This is my go-to place to unwind and walk or bike around.
I have seen a few good outside events here a really nice place to bring the kids,an all the season park for young and old.The market place is just a 5 min walk away.
This park is designed with flair. Playground is nice and there is even a small skating ring during winter.
