The food was hot and delicious. The waiter was exceptional! However, the area of the restaurant where we sat was hot. It had been a hot day in the 80's. The area we sat had broken blinds and seemed in need of a minor renovation. This was once a vibrant place and the 1st Applebee's in the area where everybody wanted to go and meet. Please show our visitors from the hotels and surrounding areas, we are proud as owners and to serve them.
Lunch menu is great. Great place to go for lunch. MMM..
We were a group of 6 with one toddler...Very poor service... waited more than 30 minutes for our food and the restaurant was no where near crowded, 10-15 people MAYBE. One of our group didn't get her meal until the rest of us were almost finished eating AND when they finally brought her meal it wasn't fixed the way she explicitly asked. We were overcharged for our meals and one of the members of our group had to go get his change... the waitress didn't bring it back to him. I haven't been very impressed with Applebee's in the recent past but now know that I/we will not forget this very bad experience and I'm sure that none of us will visit this restaurant again.
My first experience here in Roanoke VA. I must say time of day was on point for me and my daughter. Service was amazing and he was very polite and respectful. I loved the food. James was our greeter and server, amazing service. I will be back for date night too.
Took a little while to get the food, but it was great , service could have been a little better, but still okay , the food was really good !
