This was our second try at Rockfish, both times I found the food, service, and atmosphere to be very good. What they lack is adequate portions, both times I left hungry. Last night my wife had snapper while she loved it the portion was a joke. We stopped off and ate somewhere else on the way home.
Very friendly service. The food was not great. Crab cakes were mealy and lukewarm. French toast was oddly mushy and undercooked.
Excellent everything! We were early and were let in with no fuss - server and Manager very pleasant to talk with - very knowledgeable about wines and menu. Can’t wait to go back - and the salmon was fantastic.

This our favorite local Roanoke restaurant! Great fresh healthy options and wonderful cocktails and wine menu. Super accommodating for special diets and restrictions. Olivia, Shannon and all the staff always take great care of us.
