Very poor wifi service. The room was hot. And lots of unfinished remodeling on the fifth floor.
I gave it three stars mainly because of the internet. It was vital to the conference and was very frustrating having it pop in and out - mostly out.
Attended a business meeting here. The food the hotel provided for lunch was great and much better than what we typically get during meetings. Excellent hospitality as well.
On the negative - The hotel was under construction, so things were a bit piled up in the hallways and whatnot. Internet was slow or non-existent. I finally gave up and just used my 4G.
Service was good and beds are nice.
The only reason I don't give this hotel 5 stars is because it is currently under renovation and the night we arrived the only room available was a smoking room. However, in spite of the that, the room was very clean and comfortable for being a smoking room. The staff was also extraordinarily friendly and helpful. I'm actually quite grateful we found a room here as every other hotel in town was booked the night we arrived. I would definitely stay here again.
Overall experience with staff was very good. The building is dated, they're making good progress in trying to update building. It had everything I need and really was a good experience. I would definitely stay here again.
On the positive - The rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was very accommodating. I was here for a conference. The breakout rooms, hospitality suite, and banquet rooms were perfect. There's ample parking, and it's centrally located and close to the interstate.
