Very clean. Good hot breakfast. Close to the interstate. Great staff. Fresh cookies in the evening. Pool was closed for maintenance but looked beautiful and inviting. Would stay here again.
We separated the room because my husband needed a medical intervention at the Veterans Hospital in Roanoke. We stayed two nights. The distance from our home to Roanoke is about two hours driving and the doctors recommended to my husband do not drive. We asked for a good room. They offered a suite for 119.00 the first night and 189.00 the second. We explained our situation and the Manager gave us the second night with the first amount of money (119.00). But this wasn't all. The room was extremely clean and the environment was awesome. The price included continental breakfast too. We recommend the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Roanoke 100%. If we need to go again, we will select the same hotel. For us, the hotel accommodation, personnel, foot, clean, etc. Was excellent!
Awesome front desk team, clean breakfast area and typical food. The room smelled awful -- like rotting shoes. Musty smell originated in a/c duct. I arrived too late to bother with a room change (upon checking out I complained and another guest expressed the same concerns) Couch was stained as were dated carpets. Comfortable and clean bed. Smell of room was worrisome- mildew? Not worthy of a Marriott Residence Inn flag. STAFF very responsive and friendly.
Love love love this place. Great to stay at. The fluffy bed just welcomes a tired body. The continental breakfast was hot and good. So many choices! Loved the coffee! So fresh! And the lady who checked us in was a blessing. So very kind and welcoming. She truely loves her job. Kudos to her for helping our stay be wonderful. We will be back!
Very easy to find. Free breakfast and WiFi. Breakfast was good. They allow pets but there is a additional fee. Rooms are a bit dated but well kept.
