I have had a free business meetings here and they have always went very well. I've also been here for paint nite and it was so much fun. Clean place and friendly staff.
The location is awesome! The hotel is set on top of a hill with great views!! The suite we stayed in was spacious and clean. The food, both dinner and breakfast, was so delicious (I recommend the French toast). My only negative was the bed. It was like sleeping on a rock, very uncomfortable.
We stayed for one night. Checking was quick and professional. The rooms were clean, modern, and roomy. We didn't have a valley view, but the drive up was nice. It was a bit crowded, but breakfast was tasty, and the checkout was quick. I would definitely stay here again.
A very nice hotel. The cleaning and service staff were friendly and helpful. I Like that they have a bar downstairs. They could use an extra (local) beer or two on tap. The front desk employees aren't very personable, and sometimes they weren't around. A free basic breakfast seems like it should be offered for the price of the room. The rooms are very comfortable and had everything I needed.
This was my first stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in Roanoke. I was disappointed by a couple of things. The parking first and foremost wasn't great. Not sure who designed it, but it could have been built better. Only a handful of parking spots in the front of the hotel, and the majority of spots way off to the side. Overall the rooms were nice and I was upgraded without having to ask. One concern I had was the supplied shampoo and conditioner by the sink was half used, with sand all around the lids. The towels had hair on them from the previous guests. I'll search for another hotel my next trip to Roanoke.
